Membership Form

The Fenton Artist Guild was formed in 1975; originally it was an organization to bring artists together. Over the years the goals and activities has grown so that now guild membership is open to anyone interested in the arts and willing to participate in the guild activities.

The objective of this Guild shall be to promote interest in the visual arts in the greater Fenton area and give the opportunity for active work and mutual helpfulness within the membership.

Meetings are open to the public and are generally held the third Tuesday of the month. Meetings begin at 7:00pm, and are held in the lower level of the Fenton Community and Cultural Center, 150 S. Leroy, Fenton, Michigan.

Monthly Meetings feature an art-related program. Members are encouraged to bring current work to share with the group. Other guild activities include “Art at the Center”, Plein air program, Hanging Around Town and “Gift of Art” members show.

Membership dues are due beginning in October each year. If paid before December 31, member names will appear in the annual guild directory. All members receive a monthly e-mail newsletter.

Refreshments are assigned at the beginning of the year for each monthly meeting.

The first person listed, as it appears in the newsletter, chairs the refreshment committee that month.

All members shall perform such duties as assigned to them as set for them in the By-laws.
